Archival Pigment print

The latest pigment inks represent one of the most important recent advances in photographic printing. The older Dye based inksets produced a large colour gamut with saturated colours but faded gradually when exposed to UV light. The newest archival ink is made from 100% pigment. Dye is unnecessary to create colour brightness because the greater pigment density allows a unique micro-dispersion of extremely fine pigment particles. Each particle has an extremely smooth and uniform resin coating, ensuring superbly sharp image reproduction on fine art papers. With rated life spans before noticeable fading (depending on paper used and display conditions) of between 70 and 150 years, the Archival Pigment print now offers an unrivalled combination of longevity and colour gamut.
